Čo je elektronická schránka?

The electronic mailbox is designed to receive official documents sent by public authorities. The electronic mailbox replaces the usual way of communicating with public authorities in paper form. With the help of an electronic mailbox, it is possible to receive and respond to messages electronically. Entrepreneurs are obliged to use the electronic mailbox from 1 July 2017.
From 1 January 2022, the Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic delivers documents only electronically, including attachments with the same legal effects as when delivering documents in paper form.
When electronically delivering documents by the regime into own hands, the financial administration applies the fiction of delivery, i.e. the electronic document is considered to have been delivered if the addressee confirms the notification of delivery, but also if the storage period (15 days) expires and the notification of delivery is not confirmed by the addressee within this period.

If it is a foreign natural person or legal entity, they do not have the opportunity to obtain an identity card with a chip, since it is tied to citizenship of the Slovak Republic. In the event that the statutory representative of the legal entity is a foreign person, he can authorize the authorized person (a citizen of the Slovak Republic with permanent residence in the territory of the Slovak Republic) to fully access the electronic mailbox of the legal entity.
